About Us
Pilgrim Sands Trail Riders was established as a non-profit organization in 1974. Working with local and state government, our members try to keep our trails open and maintained.
The organization is chartered by The American Motorcyclist Association and New England Trail Rider Association. We put on many sanctioned events each year.
Pilgrim Sands Trail Riders has taken on the responsibility of doing the trail maintenance in the Freetown-Fall River State Forest in return for being allowed to have these trails open for public use from May first through the last Sunday in November.
Most of the proceeds from our events are donated to local charities, churches, fire and police departments. In addition, we donate equipment to local state parks. We are always seeking new members to join our organization and to ride in and help out at our events and to work on forest work details.
